It has been 8 years since I visited Ritz Carlton KL. The last time was featuring their Peruvian feast and this time, it is the Ritz Carlton KL’s Ritzy Weekend Feast with Chef Andy Choy. Something rather unique so do read till the end.
The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur’s international reach brings a diverse culinary palette to The Ritzy Weekend Feast, showcasing food cultures and traditions from the stunning cities, coasts, and countryside where Ritz-Carlton hotels are located.
For a limited time, every Friday and Saturday, Chef Andy Choy—executive chef and partner of N.I.C.E. Bistronome, Chateau Dionne, and Doux Doux by Chateau Dionne—joins as a guest chef. With two decades of global fine dining experience, including 3 Michelin starred Guy Savoy in Paris and Gordon Ramsay in London and Dubai, Choy was Champion of the 2017 Chef Par Excellence Competition and a finalist at the 2018 Concours Gastronomie Paris.
At The Ritzy Weekend Feast, Chef Andy Choy brings his culinary inspirations from the French Riviera to life. Each week features rotating menus and live kitchens serving home-made pasta, French classics, and Italian favourites. Highlights include chitarra pasta topped with salmon or prawns, stracciatella with figs and hazelnuts, and foie gras mousse with mixed berries.
Expect iconic dishes such as Marseille’s bouillabaisse, mushroom tortellini, braised beef cheek, cheese wheel risotto, and herb-crusted roast lamb. Chef Andy also othersrs French, Italian, and Mediterranean inspired desserts like tiramisu, cannoli, mille-feuille, crêpe suzette, and crème brûlée.

The homemade pasta is well done. Made from scratch, cooked with their special broth and sauce, the taste of the pasta is delectable. I had at least three to four bowls of pasta and you can spot the long queue from other guests.
Not forgetting is their dessert and they are good. Chef Andy Choy and his team knows their best and brings it to Ritz Carlton KL’s Ritzy Weekend Feast.
On top of that, there are also many other types of food available from all over the globe. There are paella, Thai food, and our local food. You will be spoilt with choices.
