Yakumi Japanese Restaurant Solaire Resort
Yakumi Japanese Restaurant Solaire Resort
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Solaire Resort and probably in Manila. Check out the Yakumi Japanese Restaurant at Solaire Resort.
I had dinner at Yakumi Japanese Restaurant during my stay at Solaire Resort on my first visit to Philippines. They are located at Ground Floor of the hotel and the restaurant offers a huge live cooking kitchen /island in the middle of the restaurant.
The cool is you get to see the chefs in action while waiting for the food and there is a lot of activities going on there especially the cooking and plating.
What you need to know that they sourced the finest and freshest seafood ingredients, air-flown twice weekly directly from Tokyo’s renowned Toyosu Fish Market. When you get fresh seafood from Tokyo, you know it will be good.
Here is the dinner set menu with sake. Sashimi – Rock Lobster, Blue fin tuna, kampachi and Hokkaido scallop with Wasabi bonito soy (real wasabi). For sashimi lovers, you will love this. Super fresh sashimi with the bonito soy, priceless.
Sushi – Toro caviar, Hokkaido Ikura, Conger Eel Sushi. Love the taste and texture of the sushi.
Soup – Lobster Miso Soup
Chawanmushi – Foie Gras Egg Custard. Can you spot the huge piece of foie gras and the beautiful texture of the egg.
Grilled Miso marinated Gindara, Alaskan King Crab, Miso Mayonnaise. Can taste the freshness of the seafood with this simple grill. Can I have another plate?
Robatayaki Char Grilled Beef Omi Hime Tenderloin, Truffle Teriyaki Sauce. You can never complain the Beef Omi Hime Tenderloin cooked to perfection. Cook medium rare with great texture! Feels like having this in Japan.
Dessert – Hazelnut mousse with coffee ice cream. A great way to end the beautiful fabulous Japanese dinner.
There are also a good selection of sake available in this restaurant.
Sake – Hakkaisan Yukimuro 3 Years Snow Aged (White) and Masumi Shirotae Junmai Ginjo (Black).
Hakkaisan Yukimuro 3 Years Snow Aged is lighter and sweeter in taste and you can easy order another bottle for a long night.
Masumi Shirotae Junmai Ginjo offers more solid and bolder taste. If you like strong flavour sake, I reckon you order this sake.
I love the food and the drink here as it feels like dining in Tokyo, Japan. The food here is fresh, tasty and enjoyable. If you are at Solaire Resort, you must visit Yakumi Japanese Restaurant.
