My dad actually read many rave reviews about this place and hence we went to check it out This unassuming stall has garnered a reputation for serving some of the best roasted pork in Penang. Maybe that is the reason why there are often long queue visiting the store.

They offer roasted pork (siew yoke) and other types of pork too like char siew and so. My dad ordered roasted pork and we had it at the food court next door.

The price of the roasted pork is not that cheap ya, it is almost similar with the prices in Kuala Lumpur.

Here is my honest review for this Boon Hean Cai Roasted Pork at Cecil Street Market. The roasted pork skin is crispy while the meat is tender but the taste overall is pretty decent. It is not as good as it claimed or out of the world.

This is purely based on my opinion on the roasted pork we order that day. My parents share the same sentiments. Not that, I don’t want to comment more about this but how to beautify food that is common? Don’t hate me for being honest.
