The wait is finally over. Sushiro, Japan’s No. 1 conveyor belt sushi chain in terms of sales, has officially arrived in Malaysia. Their first outlet, located in Suria KLCC, marks a significant milestone for the brand as its 200th international location.

They opened two weeks ago and I went there recently after great recommendation from a Japanese friend and also waiting for the sensation to calm down.

First Impressions

However, there are complaints about the service and the air cond from Google Review on the first week of service. I think that was just technical issue on the opening of the restaurant which is quite common.

I love most of the sushi I have tasted except the sea urchin sushi. The sea urchin sushi is creamy in texture but too fishy taste for my liking.
The rest of the seafood sushi is super fresh and value for the money. The grade is definitely better than the usual Sushi restaurants in Malaysia except the omakase ones. I will say this is premium sushi in affordable pricing.
Most of the customers are Japanese staying in KL. Like they say, Japanese only eat good Japanese food so this means Sushiro KLCC Malaysia is definitely up to their quality and standard.
